This is how the Scandi cool kids will be dressing come autumn 2022
All the cool kids came out in their muppet coats and boots for Stand Studio's AW22 presentation last night. Founder and creative director Nellie Kamras kicked off the evening with a resounding "L'chaim" (the hebrew toast meaning "to life") as the Stockholm fashion set mingled with models, all wearing the oversized pony furs and chunky shearlings of the season.
The collection centres around an "intergenerational wardrobe", where grandma's timeless fur and a mother's elegant car coat mingle with youthful moto jackets and shrunken boxy shearlings. The palette is modern, of course, consisting most notably of that delicious mustard yellow and the Oscar the Grouch green. The brand's signature quilted bag comes in fresh colourways to match. Furry triangle scarves top off the look.
And don't miss those boots, big and furry, sure to be on the feet of Scandinavia's fashion set in a matter of months.
