Last night in Stockholm, Sweden's cultural, sporting and style elite gathered to toast 150 years of the institution that is the city's Grand Hôtel
“Grand Hôtel is not just a building; it’s a destination steeped in history, craftsmanship, and innovation," Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hotel has commented on the occasion of the venue's 150th anniversary.
Last night, the destination was completely emptied of its guests – a feat only undertaken once before – its century-and-a-half celebrations. The hote's unmissable entrance was tranformed with an official 'blue carpet' for party arrivals, while those who stepped inside the exclusive event noticed no less than 49 disco balls suspended for the occasion.
Amongst the 1,000 guests were Sweden's biggest celebrities, Hollywood talents and NHL professionals. See the star-studded snapshots of the party arrivals below, as lensed by Cortado Visual's Hampus Forssander.
