Taylor Swift’s Gant era continues by way of a buttery leather trench
By now Taylor Swift’s love affair with Gant is as well-documented as her relationship with Travis Kelce. So it comes as little surprise that Time's Person of the Year would kick off her birthday celebrations wearing a coat by the Swedish brand. Swift, who turns 34 today, stepped out for dinner at buzzy social club Zero Bond alongside Miles Teller and Selena Gomez wearing a buttery leather trench from Gant’s 240 Mulberry Street collection (seemingly Swift’s Gant collection of choice).
This wasn’t the first time that Swift was spotted out with Gomez whist wearing Gant outwear. Just last Friday she wore a Gant shearling paired with a pleated miniskirt and knee-high oxblood boots by Reformation. This time around, her Gant trench took centre stage, buttoned and tied to reveal only a pair of black platform boots and the whisper of a black top.

Since Swift started regularly wearing Gant at the top of October, there has been no indication that this is part of a carefully rolled out partnership (despite Swift being a savant at careful rollouts). It seems as though she’s simply brand loyal, relying on Gant to cultivate a can’t-miss autumn/winter wardrobe. While Swift certainly has a lot going on these days, we’re officially dubbing this her Gant era.
