Heading to Helsinki, the Nordic tastemakers take to the streets in their very best looks
While Copenhagen is the buzziest of the Nordic fashion weeks, Fashion in Helsinki is fast becoming the sartorial place to be. Opting for a more monochromatic colour scheme than their Danish brethren and more experimental silhouettes than the Swedes, the Finnish street stylers have cemented their very own version of Scandi fashion. With an eclectic approach to style, they shroud themselves in effortlessly draped coats and layer up like pros in perfectly cut corsets – all while stomping down the pavement in acrylic platforms á la Rick Owens.
Here, Vogue Scandinavia has commissioned photographer Lucas Ruska Martin to capture all the looks from the concrete runway.
