Optimism was in the air for shoe designers in Milan. Sparkly rhinestones, high platform heels and bright colours (so much pink!) dominated the footwear department as the accessory focused week was able to return to a pre-pandemic show schedule. The designers definitely delivered feel-good fashion; if your idea of happiness is a pair of glittery knee boots or bubblegum-pink platforms, you might need to be re-reminded that we are discussing winter collections.
