Japanese retailer Uniqlo has once again teamed up with the acclaimed British designer JW Anderson, resulting in a lineup of wardrobe classics that offer a fresh take on preppy style
Since 2017, Uniqlo and JW Anderson have dreamt up sought-after collaborations, a fruitful partnership that continues into 2025 as the duo releases their spring/summer ‘25 line-up. Entitled ‘Modern Preppy’, the collection hones in on timeless wardrobe essentials, reinterpreting preppy style with a fresh spin.
Boasting classics like crisp Oxford shirts to vibrant boxy polos and fitted, preppy-central blazers, the collection fuses Uniqlo’s sleek and minimalist approach with Jonathan Anderson’s signature playful twist. Relaxed hoodies, crewnecks, chino shorts and slouchy denim pieces are also included in the mix, with Anderson noting that “jeans and hoodies in particular have been reimagined with special attention to detail to achieve the most ideal fit”.

The offering is ideal for the warmer months, inviting us to play around with styling where layering – a skill mastered by many a Scandi – and zesty colour combinations take centre stage. Opt for a more low-key look with the hoodies, T-shirts and crewnecks, or go full preppy with a button-up paired with a blazer and a striped tie. Speaking of accessories, the Uniqlo x JW Anderson SS25 offering also features a range of pieces to spice up your spring ensemble, from socks and caps to the return of an old favourite, the ‘Drawstring Bag’, arriving in luscious, candy-coloured hues.
The Uniqlo x JW Anderson spring/summer '25 collection will be available at Uniqlo stores and online at uniqlo.com from the 16th of January.
