The open-to-public global exhibition, presented in partnership with internationally renowned photo collective Magnum Photos, premiered in London last week and has just been unveiled in Stockholm

A single T-shirt has the power to spread peace. This has been the idea behind Uniqlo's 'Peace for All' charity T-shirt initiative, which in 2024, celebrates two years and over 10 million dollars raised. Since the release of the first T-shirt, all sale profits have been donated to a trio of humanitarian organisations: UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency), Save the Children, and Plan International.

Now, the Peace For All initiative expands beyond T-shirts to harness the world of art – and the hearts and the minds of the public along the way. Teaming up with internationally renowned photographic cooperative Magnum Photos, Uniqlo has launched a global photography exhibition for the very first time with a curated collection of striking, joyful, and profound images capturing Peace For All funded activities on three different continents from three different perspectives.

The showcased work is that of Magnum photographers Cristina de Middel, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Olivia Arthur, who traveled to Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania to capture the everyday lives of those who are affected by humanitarian crises who are the beneficiaries of funds raised through the Peace For All initiative – powerfully illustrating how each partner makes good use of funds raised through the initiative.

Spanish photographer Cristina De Middel, who is based between Mexico and Brasil, travelled to Vietnam to capture Plan International's activities in Vietnam to prevent child marriage and support the education of girls (including the renovation of school dormitories and improvement of water, sanitation and hygiene facilities). Documentary photographer Olivia Arthur lensed Save the Children's work in the Ukraine, where the organisation is supporting children and families who have fled the war – offering education, mental health care and financial assistance. Meanwhile, South African Lindokuhle Sobekwa photographed UNHCR's efforts in Ethiopia, supporting forcibly displaced people with daily necessities, food and education.
