Kristian Haagen is a man who, in the wristwatch community, needs no introduction. As a child, Kristian discovered his father’s and grandfather’s enormous collection of National Geographic magazines. The first pages, especially from the 1970s-1980s, were full of adverts for wristwatches – Rolex, Omega, and Patek Philippe – and Kristian was instantly hooked. Today, nobody knows watches quite like Kristian. The timepiece tastemaker is excited to step into the role of Vogue Scandinavia’s watch expert. “Joining the Condé Nast makes me feel very proud. The renowned publishing house is like a hairspring in a mechanical watch; where all the power comes from. Not least Vogue Scandinavia.”
